§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether it has been found practicable to render the Fishery Board cruiser "Brenda" again fit for service; and, if so, at what cost; and will he state how the duties of the "Brenda" are now provided for, and by what date she will again be ready for sea?
MR. GRAHAM MURRAYI am informed by the Fishery Board that it has been found practicable to render the "Brenda" again fit for service, but it is not yet known at what cost. There is no other vessel to take her place at the Board's disposal, but they expect the "Brenda" will resume duty in four or five weeks.
