Member is aware that a Commission has for some time past been investigating the whole question of the plague in India, including that of the various forms of inoculation. I hope that weir Report may shortly he ready for publication; and I should be disposed to await it before presenting any other papers on the subject to which the hon. Member's question refers. I should add that as regards inoculation against typhoid fever no official Reports are as yet available.
