HC Deb 10 February 1899 vol 66 c512
MR. JOHNSON-FERGUSON (Manchester, North East)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether he can state the inclusive fee which he has recommended should be charged by benches of magistrates for a certificate of exemption under the Vaccination Act, 1898?

THE HOME SECRETARY

The inclusive fee, which I have placed in the Model Table for the Guidance of Local Authorities, is one shilling and sixpence. I am advised, further, that magistrates have power to remit or reduce in suitable cases any fee fixed by a Table for general use in their Court.
