§ MR. WARNERI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, if he will do something to abolish the grievance which exists in trade journals published in book form having to pay heavier postage than those published in newspaper form.
§ MRS HANBURYThe; honourable Member seems to be under some, misapprehension. Journals which, are published at intervals of not more than seven days, arid, which,, conform other respects to the conditions laid down by the Post Office-Act, 1870, are entitled to be registered for transmission at the newspaper rate of postage whether in book form or in newspaper form. There is no regulation as to the form in which such journals shall be published.
