MR. FIELDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a memorial from the Arklow Boatowners' and Fisher- 544 men's Association; and whether the Government will give favourable consideration to the various requirements set forth in that memorial so as to place the Irish fishing industry on an equality as to funds, brands, communication, and facilities as those enjoyed by English and Scotch fishermen?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURI received the memorial yesterday; the representations which it contains will receive consideration.
