HEDDERWICKI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade the reason of the delay in issuing the order necessary to enable the Dornoch Light Railway Company to proceed with the work of carrying out the scheme of a light railway from Dornoch to the Mount in Sutherland, which was sanctioned by the Light Railway Commissioners many months ago?
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADEThe Order is ready for issue 1319 subject to settlement of one point as to the agreement with the Highland Railway to construct and work the line. The settlement of this agreement is a condition precedent to an advance by the Treasury.
