§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIAI am not aware whether any English nurses have yet been engaged for the Aden Hospital, but I am in communication with the Government of India on this subject; as also regarding the proportion of their salaries to be paid by the Admiralty and Port Funds respectively. The latter point to a large extent regulates the class of nurses to be engaged.
