HC Deb 29 April 1898 vol 56 cc1535-6
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether he is aware that the sanitary inspector for Ross and Cromarty, in his Report for the year ending 31st December, 1897, states that the Kinlochluichart School is still without a water supply, and that the water supply for the Peddieston Public School is unsatisfactory; and will he call upon the responsible authority to provide a proper water supply?

MR. GRAHAM MURRAY

I am informed by the Local Government Board for Scotland that the Report referred to by the honourable Member has been received, and that the Board are in communication with the local authorities of the Black Isle and Mid-Ross districts of the county with regard, amongst other things, to the County Sanitary Inspector's statements as to the water supplies of the schools in question.
