HC Deb 04 April 1898 vol 56 cc38-9
MR. ARTHUR O'CONNOR (Donegal, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Tochi Valley, in Waziristan, is regarded as within the British frontier; and, if so, how, when, and by what authority the transfer was effected?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA

The Tochi Valley is within the external frontiers of India, and its inclusion was recognised by the Kabul Convention of 1893.
