gave Notice that the Second Reading of the Workmen (Compensation for Accidents) Bill would be taken on Monday, and if not finished then it would be taken again on Tuesday, when there would not be a morning sitting. Wednesday would be left to private Members. On Thursday the first Order would be the Elementary Education Act (1870) Amendment Bill, which ought to be passed as soon as possible into law. The second Order would be the Finance Bill. On Friday the South African Vote, as promised to the Leader of the Opposition, would be taken.
