§ SIR MATTHEW WHITE RIDLEYI am not aware that any useful purpose would be served by continuing the Return which was granted the hon. Member last year; and as it proved a very troublesome one to prepare, I am afraid I must decline to agree to it. The number of persons generally who committed suicide will, of course, appear in the Judicial Statistics in the ordinary way.
