§ MR. J. BIGWOOD (Middlesex, Brentford)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether his Department would be disposed to offer facilities and support any Measure introduced in the next Session of Parliament to enable County Councils to promote legislation in this House?
§ MR. CHAPLINI cannot give my hon. Friend any pledge with respect to the legislation of next Session; but I quite recognise that this is a matter well deserving of consideration, and with regard to which there is much to be said in its favour.
