§ MR. McLARENI beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works when he will be able to restore to the public the privilege of approaching the Houses of Parliament through Westminster Hall?
§ MR. AKERS-DOUGLASThe existing arrangements for the admission of the public into Westminster Hall have been made after consultation with the authorities who have charge of the approaches to the Houses of Parliament, and it is not intended to make any change at present. The restrictions preventing the public from entering Westminster Hall were last year modified, and the public are now admitted by the south end at such times of the day as the House is not sitting.
