M'HUGHI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether he has observed that on Tuesday last the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of the City of Dublin presented to the House of Commons a Petition in favour of an amnesty of the Irish treason-felony prisoners, now undergoing penal servitude in English goals; and, whether, in view of the position of the petitioners and the feeling entertained by Her Majesty's subjects in favour of the Petition, he will at an early date give the House an opportunity of discussing and considering the Petition?
