§ MR. J. LLOYD MORGAN (Carmarthen, W.)I beg to ask the First 1571 Lord of the Treasury, whether he will consider the Question of amending the practice of the House so as to give Members an opportunity of balloting for priority in moving Amendments in Committee to any Government Bill, and thus to prevent the repetition of such inconvenience as was manifestly sustained by Members owing to the rush to the Table immediately after the Second Reading of the Education Bill on Tuesday night?
§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURYI do not gather that any public object would be served by carrying out the suggestion, even if it were possible. No Amendment will be excluded.
