§ SIR GEORGE BADEN-POWELL (Liverpool, Kirkdale)I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can lay upon the Table of the House a Statement (for purposes of statistical comparison with that given on pages 283–4 of the Report of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue for 1884–5) giving the value of property assessed to Income Tax under Schedule (C) for all profits arising from annuities and dividends, distinguishing the amount assessed on dividends from British, Indian, Colonial and Foreign stocks, for the year 1893–4, together with the duty chargeable thereon for that year?
