HC Deb 04 May 1896 vol 40 c433
CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, whether he is now in a position to state what steps are about to be taken respecting the grievances of the permanent labourers employed on the Land Department of Her Majesty's Customs, as set forth in their memorial of February 1895?

* MR. HANBURY

I answered a similar Question on the 30th April by saying that the Customs Officials tell me that they hope to report to the Treasury on this subject in the course of a fortnight.
