§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. C. T. RITCHIE,) CroydonI have carefully considered the representations made for and against a Sea Fisheries Bill, and have come to the conclusion that the case for legislation of a kind similar to that projected last year is very strong. Under these circumstances I propose to ask Parliament to consider the subject, but at present am not in a position to say when, and in which House, a Bill will be introduced.
