§ MR. BRODRICKThe Richmond Barracks are supplied, like the population of Dublin, with Vartry water for drinking purposes. Its quality is satisfactory. For flushing drains, canal water was used until recently, but this has been discontinued. No defects in the recent supply have occurred beyond the fact that one day last week the water was shut off for a few hours while a burst main was under repair.
