§ MR. WILLIAM ALLAN (Gateshead)asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he had received any information as to the boiler accident on board H.M.S. Blake?
§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE ADMIRALTYreplied that no detailed report as to the cause of the accident had yet been received. One man was unfortunately killed and five were reported to be slightly injured. He should be sorry to give any information until an Inquiry had taken place, but so far the opinion was that the accident was due to shortness of water in the boiler.
