HC Deb 09 June 1896 vol 41 cc717-8
MR. PATRICK O'BRIEN

On behalf of the hon. Member for Dublin, St. Patrick (Mr. W. FIELD), I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether he will introduce early this Session the Bill to provide a grant for the establishment of a Veterinary College in Ireland?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. GERALD BALFOUR,) Leeds, Central

said he still hoped to be able to deal with the question of the establishment of a Veterinary College in Ireland during the present Session, but he could not make any more precise statement on the subject now.
