§ MR. W. FIELDI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade—(1) whether the Great Northern Railway Company still refuse to open the Mount-joy railway station, which was formerly carried on by the previous Company; (2) whether any complaints have been made about the serving of the level crossing at night; (3) and, whether there-establishment of the station has been repeatedly requested by the people of the district?
§ MR. RITCHIEThe reply to the first and third paragraphs of the hon. Member's Question is in the affirmative. I know of no complaints about the serving of the level crossing at night. As the hon. Member has already been informed the Board of Trade have no power in the matter. The remedy provided by the law is an appeal to the Bail way Commissioners.
