POWER (Waterford, E.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, with the object of enabling fishermen in Ireland to provide themselves with better fishing boats and gear, and in view of the condition of the money market, the Treasury can make loans to fishermen on easier terms than those now offered?
§ MR. HANBURYAs the rate of interest on such loans is already as low as 2½ per cent., I cannot hold out any hope of still further reductions.
