§ THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER,) Isle of WightChanges are under consideration affecting the present assize system, and as to Lancashire it is hoped that they may go far to meet the suggestion which has recently been made as to the holding of assizes in that County. The Reports 1118 and Proceedings of the Council of the Judges are not public documents, but if desired I shall be pleased to ascertain whether there would be any objection to their being produced.
