HC Deb 03 July 1896 vol 42 c666
CAPTION NORTON

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, having regard to the fact that the average annual output of the Royal Ordnance Factories amounts to no less a sum than £2,400,000, as well as to the fact that three months have elapsed since the end of the financial year, he will afford an early opportunity for the discussion of the Ordnance Factories Vote?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

said, that whilst he fully recognised the importance of the hon. and gallant Gentleman's question, he was not in a position to give any definite promise with regard to it at the present moment.
