YOXALL (Nottingham, W.)I beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether the omission from the Education Bill of a clause providing for compensation to officers of School Boards or School Attendance Committees, whose due interests may be injuriously affected under the legislation proposed, is inadvertent; and, if not, what is the reason for departing from precedent in similar cases, such as those provided for in the Local Government Acts of 1888 and 1894.
