HENNIKER HEATON (Canterbury)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the amount to be paid by Mauritius towards the maintenance of a military force in 1043 that island has been settled; what is the amount; whether the amounts to be paid by Singapore and Hong Kong as their military contributions have been settled; and if he can state the amounts so to be paid annually by each of the colonies concerned?
