BIRKMYRE (Ayr Burghs)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Government of British Columbia have made any application to Her Majesty's Treasury for the advance of the whole or any part of the sum of £150,000 authorised to be advanced to them under the British Columbia (Loan) Act, 1892, for transferring families from crofter parishes in the Highlands to British Columbia; and, if so, what has been the result?
