LABOUCHERE (Northampton)I beg to ask the Secretary of 749 State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the circumstances attending the death of Thomas Weir, an insane patient at the Holloway Sanatorium, Virginia Water, on the 30th September 1894, and to the opinion expressed by the coroner's jury that not sufficient medical supervision was exercised, and that the mechanical restraint was excessive and too long continued; and, whether he will order an Inquiry into the case?
