SIR ELLIS ASHMEAD-BARTLETT (Sheffield, Ecclesall)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can now inform the House as to the conditions of the Treaty of Peace between Japan and China?

I am not yet in a position to make a statement.

SIR E. ASHMEAD-BARTLETT

Can the hon. Baronet give us any idea when he will be able to give us this important information?

SIR E. GREY

As soon as I am in a position to make an official statement I shall take the first opportunity of doing so.
