HC Deb 07 May 1894 vol 24 cc465-6
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the statements made in the Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Ross shire as to the insanitary condition of stations on the Highland Railway, and the lack of a sufficient supply of water at these stations for flushing and drinking purposes; and whether steps will be taken to require the Highland Railway Company to make satisfactory provision for the travelling public and the employés of the Company?

MR. MUNDELLA

The General Manager of the Highland Railway telegraphs the Board of Trade that he has not seen the Report of the Medical Officer referred to, but that the engineer of the line is engaged in improving the sanitary condition of the stations in Ross-shire.
