Member for Sunderland, I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he will state the amounts expended and proposed to be expended in alterations and refits of hulls, cabins, and engine-rooms of the Royal yachts Victoria and Albert, Osborne, Alberta, and Elfin, for the financial years 1893–4 and 1894–5?

This expenditure for the current year to 31st March is estimated to be about £8,800. It is not certain whether that amount will be reached or exceeded in 1894–5.
