§ MR. NAOROJI (Finsbury, Central)
I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he would give a Return of the costs of Commissions, Committees, and Parliamentary Returns which have been paid from sources other than the British Exchequer?
§ THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Sir J. T. HIBBERT, Oldham)
I am afraid that the Treasury has no means of preparing such a Return. If, 350 as is possible, my hon. Friend refers to expenditure upon Commissions, &c., defrayed by the Government of India, I can only suggest that perhaps the Secretary of State for India could give him the information required.
