HC Deb 06 April 1894 vol 22 c1516
SIR G. BADEN-POWELL (Liverpool, Kirkdale)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government have now come to a decision in regard to the affairs of Uganda: whether he can state what that decision is; whether further Papers can be presented on the subject; and whether he can intimate any likely date when time can be allotted for the consideration of the question in this House?

SIR J. KENNAWAY (Devon, Honiton)

At the same time, I will ask the hon. Gentleman if the Papers relating to Uganda are ready for distribution: and if he will endeavour to procure their issue without further delay?

The announcement of the decision of the Government with reference to Uganda will be made on Monday, and the late Sir G. Portal's Report will be distributed on Tuesday morning.
