§ MR. BALDWIN (Worcester, Bewdley)I beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether there is any Rule of the Department that separate playgrounds for boys and girls should be provided in mixed schools; and, if there be such a Rule, on what date it was made?
§ MR. ACLANDThis Rule was laid down for all new schools and enlargements in the Code of 1890. As regards existing schools, each case is dealt with on its merits.
