HC Deb 13 November 1893 vol 18 c772
MR. MAGUIRE (Clare, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if his attention has been drawn to the present condition of Scariff Pier; and if he is aware that there is no chain on the quay to prevent horses and carts falling into the river, and that both the quay and the road leading to it are kept in a filthy and unsafe condition?

* SIR J. T. HIBBERT

I am informed that the quay and road are regularly maintained in order, and are not in an unsafe condition. I am also advised that a chain on the quay is unnecessary.
