HC Deb 03 November 1893 vol 18 cc114-5
COLONEL KENYON - SLANEY (Shropshire, Newport)

I beg to ask the Attorney General whether the conviction of a member of a Local Board for fabricating certain voting papers at a late election to the Board, he being not a candidate but a member, disqualifies him from voting as a member of the Board?

* THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir C. Russell,) Hackney, S.

There can be no disqualification except by Statute, and I am not aware that there is any such Statute.
