I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury when the Metropolitan Water Supply Commission was resolved upon by the Government, and at what period its first meeting was held?

The Royal Warrant appointing the Commission was dated 15th March, 1892, and the Treasury learned the fact on the 17th idem from the Home Office in the usual manner. I am not aware when the first meeting took place.
