I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether instructions have been given to the Customs Authorities in all ports of entry in the United Kingdom to provide accommodation for the boarding of vessels by the medical officers for the purposes of inspection and examination of ships' crews and passengers, in carrying out the precautions against cholera instituted by the Local Government Board?

The Custom House Authorities are instructed to render assistance wherever they conveniently can in order to provide accommodation for the medical officers at the different ports in carrying out the regulations of the Local Government Board.
