Morley,) Newcastle-upon-TyneI am informed that the canteen referred to is conducted strictly according to the Queen's Regulations, which prohibit the sale of liquor to civilians either on Sundays or weekdays. So far as the police are aware there is nothing irregular in the management of the canteen, and there is no evasion of the Sunday Closing Act.
