HC Deb 11 July 1893 vol 14 c1267
COLONEL HUGHES (Woolwich)

I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer in what way the Treasury have decided to deal with the £16,000 a year for Greenwich Hospital age pensions?

THE CIVIL LORD OF THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. E. ROBERTSON, Dundee)

The decision of the Government to adopt the recommendations of the Committee has already been announced. As the result of consultation between the Treasury and the Admiralty, it is intended that the matter shall be dealt with by a Vote on Supply instead of the proceeding by Bill which was at first contemplated.
