§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir E. GREY, Northumberland, Berwick)The Danish Government have made such a proposal, and after consultation with the various Departments concerned a reply has been returned to the effect that Her Majesty's Government would not feel justified in taking the initiative in the International action proposed, but will be glad to consider any further practical suggestions which the Danish Government may have to make.
