HC Deb 07 July 1893 vol 14 cc1064-5
SIR W. HOULDSWORTH

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for India if any Correspondence on the Silver Question took place between the British and Indian Governments before the year 1886; and, if so, whether he will lay it upon the Table of the House?

MR. G. RUSSELL

Much Correspondence took place from the years 1876 to 1882, and many of the more important Papers have been already laid before Parliament. If the hon. Baronet will specify any particular Papers that he wishes to see, it is not likely that any objection will be made to their production.
