HC Deb 06 July 1893 vol 14 c958
DR. AMBROSE (Louth, S.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General if the Postal Authorities are paying rent at present for two post offices in the town of Drogheda; and why the premises in West Street, obtained in August last, have not been altered and repaired to suit the requirements for which they were taken by his Department?

THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. A. MORLEY, Nottingham, E.)

The answer to the first paragraph is in the affirmative. I regret that there has been some delay in carrying out the necessary alterations, but I am informed that the plans have now been approved, and that tenders will be invited without delay.
