HC Deb 06 July 1893 vol 14 cc971-2
MR. KILBRIDE (Kerry, S.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether he is aware of the inconvenience caused to the residents of Castle Cove, County Kerry, owing to present arrangements, the letter carrier arriving at 5 p.m. and leaving at 6 p.m., making it impossible to reply to letters within one hour in a rural district; and whether this inconvenience could be obviated if the post was despatched every morning from Castle Cove at 7 a.m., which would give sufficient time to meet the outgoing post leaving Cahirdaniel at 8.30 a.m.?

MR. A. MORLEY

I have called for a Report on the facts stated in the question, but as I have not received the information I cannot as yet answer the question.
