HC Deb 20 February 1893 vol 8 cc1875-6
MR. T. W. RUSSELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, seeing that the National Education Bill is the first Order on Wednesday week, he will expedite the printing of the correspondence between himself and the Board, in order that it may be available to hon. Members before that day?

*MR. J. MORLEY

I laid the Papers on the Table a week ago, and I have no control over the printing of them.

MR. T. W. RUSSELL

But surely the right hon. Gentleman can expedite the printing if he chooses.

*MR. J. MORLEY

I have no more power than the hon. Member.

MR. SEXTON (Kerry, N.)

Will the Papers include the correspondence with the late Government?

*MR. J. MORLEY

It will begin with the letter of the right. hon. Gentleman the present Leader of the Opposition.

MR. T. W. RUSSELL

I understand the Secretary to the Treasury is responsible for the printing. Will he expedite the printing of this correspondence?

SIR J. T. HIBBERT

I have no objection to doing my best to hasten it.
