SHAW LEFEVRE,) Bradford, CentralThe road to Clarence Gate is a private road, and till lately was in the ownership of a person who refused access by it to Richmond Park. It has recently, however, passed into the hands of another gentleman, Mr. Hugh Smith, who takes a different view. In return for a concession I have been able to make him, he will open the road to the public provided the Local Authorities will agree to repair it. This, I think, 525 will be a very good arrangement, and as soon as the road is open Clarence Gate will be opened.
