§ MR. S. SMITHI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for India whether, in respect of the engagements recently entered into with His Highness the Ameer of Afghanistan, the territory which has come under British control considerably exceeds in extent that which is given over to Afghanistan; and can Papers with maps be laid before Parliament at an early date describing those territories respectively, also explaining the nature and method of control proposed to be exercised over the territory thus newly brought under the Indian Government?
