HC Deb 05 December 1893 vol 19 cc483-4
MR. HANBURY (Preston)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether the revised edition of the Army Discipline Act, as amended up to the present date, has yet been printed; and whether it will be issued as a Parliamentary Paper, as other Acts of the current year?

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

I am informed that the reprint of the Army Act will be completed as soon as the Madras and Bombay Armies Bill becomes law. The question of its distribution is under consideration; but I may mention that the reprint takes place under Section 8 of the Army (Annual) Act of 1885, which enacts that the Army Act shall be printed from time to time, with the corrections made up to date by later Acts, but which does not provide for any special distribution of the reprinted Act.
