HC Deb 31 August 1893 vol 16 c1566
MR. BUCHANAN (Aberdeenshire, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he will endeavour to carry out at as early a date as possible the recommendations of the Sea Fisheries Committee on the subject of fishery harbour accommodation in Scotland, whereby power should be given to the Fishery Board to apply the funds entrusted to them for harbour improvement as security for loans to be made for that purpose by the Public Works Loan Commission?

SIR G. TREVELYAN

The recommendation referred to in the question of the hon. Member will be duly considered along with other points in connection with the Sea Fisheries Regulation Bill now before Parliament, as it cannot be given effect to without legislation.
